Our Mission

     After School Safety and Enrichment for Teens Program offers academic, athletic, and cultural leadership classes as well as daily enrichment activities. The athletic, academic, and cultural leadership classes offer youth development and tutorial support aimed at improving the academic and leadership skills of students and student athletes. The after school program is open to all students enrolled at Kennedy High School and is free of charge.

How Do I Enroll in The ASSETs Program?

    Enrollment into the ASSETs Program is easy.  Get a schedule of classes and choose which class best suites your needs.  Then go to that class.  When you get there ask the teacher for an enrollment/consent form.  Turn in the Enrollment Form  as soon as possible so you will be added to the class.  You may also download all the forms from this web site and bring them with you to the class you want to attend.

 

Snack

    Snack is offered everyday to students who have enrolled into the ASSETs Program.  The snack is in accordance with CDE and SCUSD's healthy snack guidelines.

 

Extended Library Hours

    ASSETs offers extended library hours to all students. Library hours: 3:30pm - 6:00pm.  Please remember to sign in if you use the library during extended hours.

 

Enrichment Activities

    ASSETs offers enrichment activities everyday.  Please check the enrichment schedule to see what's being offered this month.

Monday-Thursday: 3:30pm-6:30pm

Friday  (short day):   3:30pm-5:30pm
