My evolving assessment philosophy...presented in a cool new presentation format:

 

This website is dedicated to improving assessment through innovation and technology.  It focuses on the paradigm shift of using assessment not necessarily exclusively for measuring learning, but as part of the learning process.  Making assessment less punitive and more circular.  Imagine that you can present content, provide learning opportunities in the form of practice, and then measure learning at a particular point in time with the purpose of continuous improvement.

Each page is an assessment modality and there is an example of the traditional method for carrying out that modality along with a "new and improved" way to facilitate the learning.  For those interested in minor revisions, there are also ideas for taking baby steps.  These ideas are organized using the following pictures to label each category of idea
