Background info / Nuestra Historia   The Peña Sevillista Puerta de América (PSPA) was formed in 2007 by Rafa Acal Jimenez, a devoted Sevillista who wanted to show support for his club while living thousands of miles away. The idea of the peña was strengthened with Sevilla’s trip to the United States in the Summer of 2007. Many Sevilla fans flocked to Chicago to see the games, and talk of the association was brought up amongst the fans. After Chicago, the idea was even stronger and in the Fall of 2007, the PSPA was founded. [Spanish] La Peña Sevillista Puerta de America (PSPA) se fundo en el 2007 gracias a los esfuerzos de Rafael Acal Jimenez, un devoto Sevillista que quizo mostrar su apoyo al club incluso estando tan lejos. La idea de la peña gano fuerzas cuando el Sevilla FC visito Chicago en el verano del 2007.
