Our Geothermal Heat Pump

Our five bedroom farmhouse is probably about 100 years old. There is a great deal that is nice about it but we wanted to switch four rooms on the main floor around - make the kitchen the family room, the living room the kitchen, the dining room the living room and a bedroom the dining room.  The wiring needed to be upgraded and we wanted an upstairs bathroom with a shower.

The house had a small oil furnace and minimal insulation.  We decided to invest in a geothermal heat pump and have renovations needed for the duct work done around the same time as the plumbing and wiring work. These three jobs have been finished and we have a new kitchen and bathroom. Other work will be completed when we sell our house in Yarmouth.
