The ASME Online Jobs Database allows all of its members access to information on exclusive job opportunities throughout the world. Search the database by title, location, responsibilities or job requirements. Its a great way to find jobs that some of your peers can not! The job data base is not only for seniors seaking full time employment but for any college level student looking for internships as well.
SUBSCRIPTION TO ME MAGAZINE
"Mechanical Engineering Magazine" is a monthly magazine sent out to all members. The magazine delivers coverage of cutting-edge technologies in an extensive and reliable manner. Insight on the growing industry and the perspective of some of ASME Sr. Officials along with information on technological development and innovative processes are covered in great detail.
- SCHOLARSHIP, FELLOWSHIP AND STUDENT LOAN OPPORTUNITIES
These programs help students like us subsidize the cost of our education. The scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $6,000, while the graduate teaching fellowships encourage student members to pursue the doctorate in mechanical engineering and encourages engineering education as a profession. Something that us students like to do is spend money, but when we have the ability wouldln't you like to be able to save some to? ASME Student Loan Fund has helped over 1,000 ASME student members with low interest student loans. In fact, the loan rates are now a little more than 1% below the Federally Guaranteed Student Loan (Stafford Loan). (Wish I knew that ahead of time right, don't waste time apply today!)

A number of competitions sponsored my ASME are held to test students engineering knowledge (Book knowledge and Physical knowledge the whole package) and awards are given out to the voted winners. Who doesn't like a friendly competition between classmates?
