A good way of preparing for the course would be to read the Media Guardian every Monday; even better, it's free online daily. Other ways of preparing for A level include broadening the type of text that you consume (watch). So don't discriminate, if you've rarely watched foreign language or black & white films, for example, try some.

 

It's also important that you're aware of what's going on the world so watching serious news, and/or current affairs programmes, will help you better understand the world you live in.
