REAL LIFE STORIES - My Insurance Claims Experiences with NTUC Income, Singapore
How are we so sure that we will not meet with any mishaps and uncertainties? When these crisises happened, how well are you being taken care of? Below are the 4 claims experiences that i have personally experienced. I am glad that i can offer my services to the following policyholders/family members in needs (whom are not my policyholders), to assist them in any way that i can, to help them tide over the crisis situation.
1) Policyholder suffered from Breast Cancer and has 2 policies as below:
a)Breast Cancer Insurance Claim on Aug 2007 - Living Policy Sum Assured $45,000. Submitted Claims documents on 7 Aug 2007 and policyholder received the cheque on 13 Aug 2007. Insurance Claims payout within 4 working days.
b) Family Plus Policy with Special Terms: exclusion on breast condition. This hospitalisation claim was not eligible as special terms are imposed for breast conditions. However, the company is compassionate to give a one time 20% ex-gratia payment as the policyholder is a loyalty customer.
2) Incomesheild Plan B Insurance Claim for the 2 days hospitalisation stay for the removal of the fishbone on 30 Aug 2007. Claims amounting to $800 fully settled on 7 Sept 2007.
3) Death Claim on Dependent Protection Scheme on 24 Oct 2007. Submitted Claims documents on 24 Oct 2007 and received the cheque on 29 Oct 2007. Insurance Claims payout within 4 working days.
