Seeking your assistance

Hello, my name is Richard and I am asking if you could help me out at whatever level you are able or hire me.

I am financially strapped, in debt and can't find long-term work that will pay the bills. It is not for the lack of trying as I've sent out 300+ resumes and applications in the last year. I've also posted to Craigslist looking for work, with little response. I am not asking for you to support anything illegal, I do Not do drugs or drink, nor smoke.

I have been asked why I don't apply for assistance to help out until I get a job, well I have. I've tried to apply for assistance hoping to get just enough help while I'm looking for work but I've been turned down, unless I become absolutely destitute, spending every bit of savings including what little I have for retirement. This would include any money I am using to look for work. The system makes no sense to me any longer.

So, I am only asking for some help to keep the bills paid and to keep from filing for bankruptcy. I'm not asking anyone for anything they can not afford themselves. A few dollars from everyone will go a long way to help out. My goal is to raise $8,000 or just enough until I have a job. If you are interested in helping, please use the button on the upper-right.

So you know how your support will used: toward paying student loans, utilities, credit cards which I've canceled and I no longer have any or use, bus pass to get around, phone & internet connection to keep searching for work, and a couple of new jackets & slacks for interviews. Some of my food comes from food banks.

Seeking Work

I am seeking part-time work as either a Customer Service Agent, Office Support, Fund Raiser, Web Site Support - new or current, House or Pet sitter, or Personal Assistant. I have years of experience and am looking for a position with a company or individuals in or near down-town Denver area. Most recently I worked with ConserVed Project in Boulder, a non-profit, contacting members for a fund raiser.

Other jobs I have accepted: gardening, house cleaning, personal assistant, dog / cat sitting, house sitting, holiday decorator, assisting with a Garage or Estate Sale, Health Counselor and Internet research.

I am not interested in being contacted about yet another MLM or Work-at-Home job or anything promising to make me a lot of money. I am willing to do the job I am hired to do and do it well. When I work for someone I reliably show up, finish the work assigned and as agreed upon. If you would like to first hire me on a short trial basis, that is ok.
