searching to  live a life of service 

   
The pathway to full membership into the Congregation takes approximately 8 years. Why? Basically to give the person contemplating Religious life enough time to experience what this life is all about.  The pathway takes on four specific milestones:
 
Postulancy: a 'lets get to know you' stage
Novitiate: a time of  intense 'prayer and discernment'stage
Temporary Commitment: a time of experiencing the Congregation's ministry
Final Commitment: the time to say "Yes" to Religious life.
How old does one have to be to begin the pathway to final commitment?
 
This is dependant on many things: level of education, work experience, family situation to name but a few. Each enquiry is dealt with the strictest of confidence and on an individual basis.
