SUMMARY

Ashish Sureka is an Assistant Professor at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT-D). His research interests are in the area of Text Mining and Natural Language Processing. He graduated with an MS and PhD degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University (NCSU) in May 2002 and May 2005 respectively. He worked for four years at the R&D Unit of Infosys Technologies Limited from May 2005 to June 2009 before joining IIIT-D in July 2009. He has worked at IBM Software Group and IBM T. J. Watson Research Lab as a graduate student intern. He has published several research papers in international conferences, received a best paper award in an international conference on E-Commerce and holds two granted patents.
