Welcome

Hi and welcome to the Ashford PTO website.  The PTO is a group of dedicated volunteer parents and teachers and residents who promote the welfare of students in cooperation with administration by arranging programs and social events and providing a medium for exchange of ideas between teachers, parents, and residents.  The PTO encourages a closer relationship between home and school so that teachers and parents may better cooperate in educating children.  For the upcoming 2011-2012 school year, the PTO will raise thousands of dollars to enrich the reading, science, music, and cultural arts programs among many other things.  Look at the PTO Annual Events page for more details.

The PTO generally meets the first Monday evening of each month in the school library.  See the Meeting Dates page for specific dates.  Many of our meetings include guest speakers on topics such as CMTs, Ashford School's use of Smartboards,  the PBS Program, the iParent  Network Organization, and health and wellness issues.

Visit the Upcoming Events page to see how you may help.  Check out the Recent Events page too.   Find contacts on our Officers page.  Please feel welcome to email or phone any officer.  We're always looking for new people and ideas, so come and share your thoughts and visions for your kids.  Hope to see you at a meeting!
