Taxidermy Demonstration by Sally Adams

Artist and taxidermist Sally Adams will give a demonstration of how to skin a bird, followed by a talk on her work, inspiration and the taxidermy process. There will be a question and answer session at the end of the demonstration and Sally will be happy to answer any questions about her work and taxidermy in general.

This a free event, but spaces are limited and booking through http://ascustaxidermy.eventbrite.co.uk/ is essential. 

The event will be held in room J05 (follow signs from the main entrance) at Edinburgh College of Art, Lauriston Place and is open to anyone interested in taxidermy.

Thanks to the over 300 people who visited our Project Space at St. James Centre!

In addition to our exhibition showcasing the 2011 ASCUS Art-Science Collaboration Grant winners, our Opening Reception and events (Madeleine Shepherd and Julia Collins with Mathematician's Shirts; Liz Adamson, Graeme Todd, and Mark Huxham with How Steep is Now?; and Julian Wagstaff) attracted members of the public as well as local artists and scientists.
