Purpose

The ASCE Sports Jamboree and Cookout will provide a networking opportunity for students, faculty, and professionals. Throughout the program, everyone is invited to participate in softball, corn-hole, horseshoes, and other sports related events. This will encourage networking while serving a purpose of an ice breaker for those who may not be familiar with the Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) community.  Following these sports events, there will be a cookout with a variety of food available. After the food, the ASCE officers will honor the student(s) who have contributed greatly to the university (more specially the College of Engineering.) After the awards presentation, Dr. Richard Miller will be speaking about the importance and trials of being a leader in the world of engineering.
