Co-President
    Austin MacDonald          
 
    Austin is a junior in Civil Engineering, intending to graduate in 2013. He has been a part of KU ASCE for his whole school career and has held a position in the club and on previous years Steel Bridge teams. Austin also holds a position as a Lab Teaching Assistant for Surveying at the University of Kansas. Elected to Presidency - November 18th, 2011. Grant Polley
    Grant is a junior Civil Engineering student and will graduate in May of 2013. In addition to his involvement in ASCE he is a member of the KU Honors Program, Chi Epsilon, and the Vice-President of the KU Men's Soccer Team. Grant currently works as a tutor for the athletic department and as a surveying lab instructor. This summer he will be working as an intern for Apex Engineers, Inc.



Secretary

    Cameron Derks

    Cameron is a 1st year senior in Architectural Engineering and will be graduating in May 2013. In addition to his involvement with ASCE he is a member of the KU Honors Program, Engineers Without Borders, Habitat for Humanity, Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Fraternity, and has been on the Dean's Honor Roll since Fall 2010. He has passed the Fundamental of Engineering exam and is officially and Engineer-In-Training. Currently he is working for JE Dunn Construction and is involved with the project management of the new engineering research facility on campus.

    Mitch Peterson
  Mitch is a junior in Civil Engineering, expecting to graduate in 2014. He has been a member of ASCE since 2010, and in 2011 he held office as the Special Projects Manager. Other ASCE involvement includes designing the floating bridge for the Arboretum Project. In addition to ASCE, he has participated in the Engineers Without Borders Spring Break trip to help repair Hurricane Katrina damage in New Orleans.

 Community Outreach
    Andy Petz 
    Andy Petz is a 2007 graduate from Lawrence Free State High School. Andy played baseball at Cowley College and Washburn University from 2007 to 2011. In 2011 he was a 1st Team Academic All American at Washburn University. Besides being involved with ASCE he is an Undergraduate Research Assistant with the Fatigue and Fracture Research Group at KU. When he graduates from KU in December of 2012 he will have a bachelor's degree from KU in Civil Engineering and a bachelor's degree in Physics from Washburn.

    Zach Ceman
    Zach is a 5th year Senior majoring in Civil Engineering with an Environmental basis. He has been a member of ASCE since 2009, and is currently involved in the concrete canoe project.

  Peter Gaskamp
   Peter entered the School of Engineering at the University of Kansas in the Fall of 2011 after earning an Associates of Arts in Liberal Arts from Johnson County Community College. He expects to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2014. He has been a member of ASCE since the Fall of 2011.

Tyler Sheldon

        Born and raised in Ottawa, Kansas, Tyler is currently in his fourth year of study in the Architectural Engineering program at KU. He has passed the FE exam and has EIT credits. In addition to his involvement with ASCE he is also involved with Engineers Without Borders. Tyler is also interested in volunteer work and helping to solve problems through engineering and construction. His goals include finding a job with an engineering company that participates in humanitarian projects, traveling the world, and working in other countries.



Historian
    Holli Hartman
    Holli is a senior in her 2nd year of the civil engineering program. She received an MA in Legislative Affairs from George Washington University in 2006, a BGS in Anthropology from KU in 1996, and is an graduate of Lawrence High School. In addition to ASCE, she is a member of the Society of Women Engineers, an alumni member of the national band sorority Tau Beta Sigma, plays bass clarinet in the University Band, and piccolo in the Alumni Marching Band at Homecoming.

Joe now works at Burns & McDonnell in the Transmission & Distribution Division in Kansas City, MO as a civil/structural engineer.

Nicole is an engineer for Black & Veatch in their Water Division in Kansas City, MO.

Levi is a transportation engineer for TranSystems in Overland Park, KS.
