This is the site for the Embodiments of Progress: Technology, Machines and Belonging in Normalcy.  We invite interested ASA members to read the panel papers prior to attendance in order to enrich discussion.  At the conference, we will briefly summarize papers, allowing more time for discussion among panelists, the discussant, and those in attendance.  Please feel encouraged to attend even if you have not read any or all of the papers.
