Through out my time in high school I always struggled
with time management. During my senior year I really learned the importance of
time management especially in AP English language. Dr. Gen, your class has
really been helpful in the sense of having to grasp the college level experience
in an easier setting. You have given me a taste of what a college class will be like, in the sense that what i do will effect myself and it wont effect anyone else but myself.
By making it our choice to pass of fail shows who is really willing to put in the effort. I am really disappointed in myself because I know I could have push to do better. I realize that my teachers in the
future are not going to plan out my every step to succeed in their classes. I
have to manage my own time to get my work done efficiently and turned in on time.
Although I have not done my best to turn everything in on time in your class, I
have learned my lesson. I shouldn’t wait until the last minuet to succeed, in
your or another classes I may have in the future. I know that if I would
have worked harder on managing my time to do the work I could have managed a lower stress level on myself and a much higher grade in your class.
I was shocked at how much freedom that was given in your class and truly
took advantage of it. I felt that i could just wait until the very last second to turn things in. Your has really prepped me for my up coming college experience.
I really appreciated your patients when it came to my faults and me. Lesson
well learned on my part. I hope now that in my future I can look back on this experience
in your class and remember how much stress I put on myself by not doing my best
to meet every deadline. Looking back on things, high school if used in the right way, can really prep you for the future. I believe my time in high school helped shape me into the person that I am today. I truly feel that i have grown and am happy that i can except my weaknesses only to build them up to help me grow and become successful. I know i could have pushed myself to do better in my classes but who wants to live with regret. I enjoined my time as a high school student and feel things are only going to get brighter for me in my future. I am excited to continue my education at Arizona State and hope that my time management skills learned in your class will only progress. You really should know that if there was anyone you taught a lesson to it was me for sure. I really appreciate what you do as a teacher and aspire become as educated as yourself. Thank you
