I am the Director of the School of Computer Science (ITC), where I am responsible for the academic advancements of the students, as well as for the coordination of the computer science faculty.

I hold a Master of Science in Intelligent Systems from Tecnologico de Monterrey, where I was under the supervision of professor Hugo Terashima Marin in the Evolutionary Optimization Group of the Center for Intelligent Computing and Robotics.

My research interests are within the artificial intelligence field, in the subject of machine learning on medical domains, including classification and data mining. I have been recently granted with the prestigious Fulbright-Garcia Robles Scholarship for doctoral studies.
