posted Mar 22, 2010 9:44 PM by michael terra

We have a new Volunteer Coordinator- Leo- who is a masterful organizer and is now taking names and finding places!
As we are getting closer and closer to the Festival, more and more elements are falling into place... the entertainment selection team over at the Symphony is about to put together their first draft choices for the Main Stage and the two Caberet Stages... Ben (our Food Guy) is re-inventing the 'Taste of Paducah' with all of the finest that the county has to offer...
This is going to a lot of fun!

Application Live! on Zapp...

posted Feb 4, 2010 10:31 AM by michael terra

After some stuttering starts, we acutally are live on Zapplication!

If you know of an artist in the Region, please encourage them to register (for FREE!) at www.zapplication.org and apply to the festival! We know that there are alot of really talented folks that live right nearby and we want to see them at the Festival!

Pass the word! If you know of and arts organization (an Arts Council, a Guild, a Club) please let them know about this too! We want all of the networking that we can get...

See you at the festival!

New Committee Chairpersons...

posted Jan 11, 2010 10:13 AM by michael terra

One of the other great outcomes of the survey was the 'stand up' response of folks who are willing to volunteer their talents to the cause!

We've got quite a few folks who are even willing to be committee chairpersons! (THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU) and many  more who will be willing hands!

If you've got the bug don't hesitate to give Stef Graves a call and elt her know that we can count on you to pitch in for the festival!

Great Survey...

posted Jan 11, 2010 9:53 AM by michael terra

After the two brainstorming meetings and the month-long writing and tinkering to publish the survey the results are in!
Seems like there is enthusiastic support for the Arts & Music Festival as a neighborhood function with street action and stages... we'll publish the numbers later...
Thanks to all of the households that responded!
Thanks to Stef and Jay for the herculean efforts to get the survey together and published...
