Welcome to Arts a la Carte and the Belonging Project!
Arts a la Carte is a Red Deer (Alberta, Canada) initiative dedicated to demonstrating the connections between arts and wellness. We work to move the arts out into the community, especially to those who may not normally have access.
We are focusing our energies on an exciting new venture. The Belonging Project supports initiatives in Red Deer that foster inclusion. Using the arts, our goal is to assist community efforts that encourage people to feel welcomed and included.
Arts à la Carte facilitates arts-oriented activities or events that invite people to explore and articulate what it means to "belong". Periodically the results of our initiatives will be shared with the community in gallery exhibits, web-based exhibits, and/or performances. Some of these efforts may also tour the community.
