The art of Kenneth Wayne Cook

To me painting is the act of discovery and creation. It starts somewhere deep inside of me. It's a feeling, some vague idea, or a little piece of something that I see, and then it grows until it has become an expression in light and dark, color and form. If I have done my work well a new painting has been born. It's magic.
