Heavily inspired by the wonderful Natasha from Nevie-Pie Cakes - our 5 year old daughter and I are both huge Hello Kitty fans so this is a selection of the best photographs taken at the party we held for her in our garden. Jazz music playing for the adults whilst the children bounced on the trampoline, a self serve buffet, home baked treats made by myself, a chocolate fountain and a dispenser full of cool pineapple juice all helped to make it a thoroughly enjoyable day. I got the idea to display her name by an events company based in South Africa using polystyrene letters tacked up against a red table cloth, hanging over the main party table. And of course a cute little dress to match ! I would also like to say a big thank you to the wonderful Marie from Heartfelt Handmade who made some gorgeous felt bunting for my little peas cake - see other pictures on my photostream for details. Sights around the 2008 Huntingdon County Fair. Ancient event held on very nice fairgrounds. As I cover Smithfield Township for the paper, always pop in at the township fire company's stand. Like how the flag ended up with a red and white table-cloth-type check when it furled. Digital photo. (2008)
