Staph Epidermis Disinfectant 01
this is part of a diffusion test to demonstrate the effectiveness of antibiotics and disinfectants. Well 1, has axe shower gel (which turned out to have no antibacterials.. I won the bet, Bob, pay up!), 2 is ivory hand soap (basically a control), and 3.. dial hand soap. The dial turned out to be powerful to a level of "holy crap!" that we had completely not expected.. and essentially, its zone of inhibition covered almost the entire plate, rendering results from the other areas useless (4 is a control btw).
Orange Lysol: Disinfectant Spray
This is a picture of Orange Scented Lysol disinfectant spray. We studied disinfectants and antiseptics in Lab 4. I learned the difference between disinfectants and antiseptics: disinfectants are for killing or inhibiting bacteria on non-living surfaces and antiseptics are applied to living tissues.
