We are now offering exciting bear hunts with use of dogs. If you like the sound of treeing dogs and want to kill a beautiful New Mexico bear, than look no further. These hunts are 5-day hunts and are fully guided by one of my guides who has great dogs. We will do these hunts from August 16 till August 31 and then September 23 threw November 30 or until unit closes. We usually do about 85% success on treeing bears and most bears being brown in color. We offer guide only hunts which allows you to book your own hotel or camp with us and allows you to provide your own food. Are hunts are conducted in the Lincoln National Forest in GMU's 34, 36 and 37. These are all 5-Day hunts however extra days can be added depending on availability. We also do are best to only harvest boars on these hunts, to allow the units to stay open longer and helps manage it for future hunting, therefore there is a $500.00 female kill fee if we tree a female and you choose to shoot it. New this year you must purchase a general license $65.00.
