This sign furthers strengthens the point that followers of Prophet Eisa Alayhay salam will be from Bani Israel as we shall see that Qutwani cloaks are worn by Imam Mahdi which the dress of Bani Israel.

 

واما حلیۃ فانۃ آدم ضرب من الرجال ربعۃ، اجلی الجبۃ اقنی الاف اشمہ ، ازج ابلج، اعین اکحل العین، براق الثنایا افرھا، فی خدہ الایمن خال اسود، یضئی وجھہ کانہ کوکب دری، کث اللحیۃ،فی کتفہ علامہ للنبی صلیّ اللہ علیہ وسلّم، اذیل الفخذین،لونہ لون عربی،وجسمہ جسم اسرائیلی ، فی لسانہ ثقل،واذا ابطا علیہ الکلام ضرب فخذہ الایسرہ بیدہ الیمنی، ابن اربعین سنۃ،وفی روایۃ مابین الثلاثین الی اربعین، خاشع للہ خشوع النسر بجناحیہ،علیہ عبایتان قطوانیان یشبہ النبی صلیّ اللہ علیہ وسلّم فی لا فی الخلق۔

امام مہدی کا حلیہ یہ ہے وہ گندمی رنگ، ہلکے پھلکے جسم والے، متوسط قدوقامت کے مالک، خوبصورت کشادہ پیشانی والے،لمبے ستواں ناک والے ہوں گے،ابرو قوس کی مانند گول اور رنگ کھلتا ہوا ہوگا، بڑی بڑی سیاہ سرمگیں آنکھوں والے ہوں گے،سامنے کے دونوں دانت انتہائی سفید اور ایک دوسرے سے کچھ فاصلے پر ہوں گے(بلکل ملے ہوئے نہ ہوں گے) دائیں رخسار پر تل کا نشان ھوگا،روشن ستارے کی طرح انکا چہرہ چمکتا ہوگا، گھنی داڑھی ھوگی، کندھے پر حضور صلّی اللہ علیہ وآلہ و سلّم کی طرح کوئی علامت ھوگی، کشادہ رانوں گی، رنگ اہل عرب کی طرح اور جسم اسرائیلیوں جیسا ھوگا،زبان میں کچھ ثقل ھوگا جس کی وجہ سے بولتے ھوئے لکنت ہوا کرے گی اور اس تنگ آکر اپنی بائیں ران پر اپنا دایاں ہاتھ مارا کریں گے،ظہور کے وقت ۴۰ سال کی عمر ہوگی، اور ایک روایت کے مطابق ۳۰ اور ۴۰ کے درمیان عمر ہوگی، اللہ کے سامنے خشوع کرتے ہوئے پرندوں کی طرح اپنے بازو پھیلا دیا کریں گے،( اصل میں ؛نسر؛ گدھ کو کہتے ہیں ،جسکا ترجمہ یہاں پرندہ کیا گیا ہے۔)، دو قُطوانی عبائیں زیب تن کئے ہوں گے، اخلاق میں حضور صلّی اللہ علیہ وآلہ و سلّم کے مشابہ ھوں گے، لیکن خلقی طور پر مشابہ نہیں ہوں گے۔؛

The appearance of Imam Mahdi (according to AHadith) is that he has deep wheatish complexion, light stature, medium height, beautiful broad comlexion,long straight nose,eyes brows round like bow,big natural black eyes, very white front two teeth and with a spacing between the teeth,a  black mole mark on the right cheek, face glowing like a shining star, a mark on shoulder like that of Dear Prophet Muhammad (Salallaho alayhay wa alay he waSallam),complexion like the Arabs and body like the Children of Israel,slight slutter in the tongue due to which he hits his right hand on left thigh sometimes because of annoyance, will appear at the age of 40 ,while praying to Allah he will expand his hands for prayers  like  birds expanding their wings, will be wearing QUTWANI CLOAKS (the clothes of Children of Israel), will resemble in character to Dear Prophet Muhammad (Salallaho alayhay wa alay he waSallam) but in appearance he will be different from Dear Prophet Muhammad (Salallaho alayhay wa alay he wa Sallam)(Also Because he will wearing clothes like the Children of Israel i.e. the QUTWANI CLOAKS).[1]

And the following hadith

عن ابی امامہ قال ستکون بینکم و بین الرّوم اربع ھدن یوم الرابعہ علی ید رجل من آل ہارون( علیہ السّلام) یدوم سبع سنین قیل یارسول اللہ صلّی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم من امام النّاس یومئذٍ قال من ولدی ابن اربعین سنۃ کان وجھہُ کوکب درّی فی خدہ الایمن خال اسود علیہ عباتیان قطوانیان کانّہ من رجال بنی اسرائیل یملک عشر سنین یستخرج الکنوز و یفتح مدائن الشّرک۔( رواہ الطبرانی کما فی الکنز ۷۔۱۸۷

ابو امامہ روایت فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلّی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم نے فرمایا کہ تمھارے اور روم کے درمیان چار مرتبہ صلح ہوگی۔ چوتھی صلح ایسے شخص کے ہاتھ پر ہوگی جو آل ہارون ( علیہ السّلام) سے ہوگا اور یہ صلح سات سال تک برابر قائم رہے گی۔ رسو ل اللہ صلّی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم سے پوچھا گیا کہ اس وقت مسلمانوں کا امام کون شخص ھوگا۔ آپ صلّی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم نے فرمایا کہ وہ شخص میری اولاد میں سے ہوگا، اور وہ دو قطوانی عبائیں (بنی اسرائیل کا لباس) پہنے ہوگا، بلکل ایسا معلوم ہوگا جیسا بنی اسرائیل کا کوئی شخص ، دس سال حکومت کرے گا، زمین سے خزانوں کو نکالے گا اور مشرکین کے شہروں کو فتح کرے گا ۔

Narrated Hazrat Umama reported Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa alay he wa  sallam) said: You and the Romans(Christians) will have four peace treaties . The fourth peace would be at the hand of a person who would be from the Al-e-Haroon( family of Prophet Haroon).This peace treaty would be for seven years. Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) was asked who would be the Imam of the Muslims at that time. Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said” That person would be from my family,his age would be 40 years ,his face would be bright as a start and a black spot would be on his right cheek.He would be wearing two Qutwani Cloaks.He will appear exactly as the person from Bani Israeel. He will rule for 20 years and will conquer the cities of the Mushrikeen(Idolaters) [2]

What are Qutwani Cloaks?

“Qutwani cloaks resembles the "TALLIT"  of present day as called by the Israelis.Both Qutwani cloak and TALLIT have fringes (tzitzit) on borders and its mostly made of Wool.. It generally falls across the head, neck, and shoulders. However the Qutwani cloak is larger and more conspicuous prayer shawl than the Tallit.”[3]

 

Now the Qutwani cloak has following features:-

Ø  They are made of Wool (as many scholars described it )

Ø  They are wrapped around the body(as the above hadith also mentiones).

Ø  It has fringes on its borders.

Ø  It’s a warm dress of cold weather.

Qutwani cloak is exactly like the cloaks worn by the Pashtoons of Afghanistan and Pakistan and its also worn in the same way like the Qutwani cloak described in the hadith and its explanation.

Infact these cloaks are often the necessary part of the Pashtun dress (In Contrast to the present day jews who wear the so called Tziitzit as a symbol and which are much smaller to be wrapped around the body.infact it has just become a something to show off by jews and not essential part of dress).

The above mentioned hadith telling that Imam Mahdi would be from the  family of Dear Prophet (salallaho alayhay wa alay he wa sallam) but would NOT look like Dear Prophet(salallaho alayhay wa  alay he wa sallam) in appearance  clearly tells that Mahdi will  not be living among the Arabs  .His appearance described as wearing Qutwani cloaks and looking like a person from Bani Israel shows that he must have been living among the Pathans for a long time and therefore IMAM MAHDI would be dressed also like the Pathans.

 

The Arabs Do not wrap cloaks around them like this and also their cloaks never have fringes and are not made of wool because is not so cold in middle east.

Another Hadith confirming the Non Arab appearance of Mahdi

4290ـ قال أبو داود: وحُدِّثْتُ عن هارون بن المغيرة، قال: ثنا عمرو بن أبي قيس، عن شعيب بن خالد، عن أبي إسحاق قال:
قال عليّ رضي اللّه عنه ونظر إلى ابنه الحسن فقال: إن ابني هذا سيدٌ كما سماه النبي صلى اللّه عليه وسلم وسيَخْرُجُ من صُلبه رجلٍ يُسَمَّى باسم نَبِيَّكم صلى اللّه عليه وسلم يُشْبهُهُ في الخُلُقِ، ولايُشْبهُهُ في الخلْقِ، ثم ذكر قصةً: يملأ الأرض عدلاً".. سنن ابوداؤد
