AR&LW Worship Renewal
The web resource for the grant year.
The Association for Reformed and Liturgical Worship, a voluntary
association of congregations and individuals, covenants with God’s
help, to cultivate, practice, and promote worship that offers a
foretaste of the fullness of God’s Reign. This worship is Trinitarian,
ecumenical, incarnational and sacramental; it is both universal and
local and sends the church to live its liturgy, bringing God’s justice
and grace to all of God’s creation.

Kerry September 19, 2008Updated info at last! With many apologies for the delay, I am nonetheless pleased to say that the generative questions are on the way to conveners. These were culled from our small group and plenary discussions at our gathering in July. In addition, general parameters for the cluster group conversations have been established and a brief description of the process written. These will be available on this web page very soon. In the meantime, please do begin assembling your cluster groups and schedule the first meeting. For grant reporting purposes, these meetings must take place before December 1, 2008. Grace and peace, Kerry September 12, 2008 The 2008 annual meeting of the Association for Reformed & Liturgical Worship is now complete, yet the work of the grant year is just beginning. This year's meeting attendees greeted the possibility and promise of the cluster groups with enthusiasm - several persons have offered to serve as conveners of groups meeting in New Jersey, Philadelphia and southeastern PA, western PA and OH, Richmond, VA, Chicago-Milwaukee, Austin, TX and northern TX. Interest has been expressed to form groups in Michigan, the Pacific northwest, and southern CA. This enthusiasm blossomed so quickly that resources for groups are scarcely in place. The links to the right will take you to documents summarizing the grant project and detailing the three-year proposal of the association. In the coming weeks (perhaps as soon as mid-August 2008), reports from this year's meeting will be linked as will more detailed info regarding the formation and life of the cluster groups. In addition, concrete examples of the type of support clusters will receive will be available. In the meantime, please email me with suggestions for resources, group membership, requests for information, etc. I will be in contact with conveners soon.
