This is the home for the teams who entered the ARKZN4 Adventure race on the 18 July 2009.
They covered about  120 km in 24 hours using bikes, boats and running shoes. This site is for their pictures and pains and triumphs during that time.

The format is unique.
Team members alternate as driver between transitions. The driver on each leg  has their own detour type missions.
The other 3 Run, ride and paddle 120 km, offroad, in 18 hours across unknown country with only maps and compasses for guidance.

They photoblog their progress and compulsory checkpoints to http://www.witness.co.za/http://arkzn4.blogspot.com/ which becomes a living record of their progress. The race started at 7h00 on Saturday 18th July at and undisclosed venue. Teams found out only 1hr before the race.

It finished officially 24 hours later, although for some it took  longer......
