An Epitome of Sacrifice

History says, that I was born in Colombo, Srilanka, then moved to Chennai, India due to the ethnic conflict. Did my schooling at Sherwood Hall Senior Secondary School till the 10th and moved onto Madras Christian College Higher Secondary School to complete my schooling. Did my Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science Engineering at National Institute of Technology - Trichy and then came to London to do my Master of Science degree in Computing and Internet Systems at King's College London. After my degree, I was funded by the departmental research bursary to do my PhD degree and after a 4 year part-time PhD - I was awarded the degree.

I am currently working as a Digital Economy post-doctoral research fellow in Internet Engineering @ the Rural Digital Economy Hub (dot.Rural), University of Aberdeen. I am an Associate @ the Center for Sustainable International Development (CSID) and Convenor for the ICT4D group at CSID.
