Arif Khattak brings along a teaching and research experience of over 19 years. He was the Head of Department, Humanities & Social Sciences at the FAST National University for about 7 years. He taught at the GIK Institute for more than 5 years. Earlier he remained associated with the research and editing of the papers of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah for 4 years. He has to his credit eight books including, A Text Book of English Prose and Structure and Pakistan Studies: Select Documents. Both the books are available on the worldwideweb. He was also one of the authors who prepared teachers’ manual and students’ preparation kits for the Ministry of IT. He has also published/presented 7 research papers in social sciences journals/conferences. He has been regularly contributing to different newspapers and magazines of repute over the past two decades. Arif was the first ever South Asia Fellow from Pakistan at the Centre of South Asia, School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, UK in 1999. His areas of interest include ESP in science and technology and the linguistic connotations of the modern South Asian politics. He has delivered several customized training workshops for wide spectra of audiences. He has been resource person for different government sponsored workshops and conferences. He has been a resource person for HEC Workshops on Professional and Technical Communication.
