My name is Arielle Rifkin and I am a biology major at The College of New Jersey.  I'm from Staten Island, New York.  The reason I am taking Spanish is because it is a requirement for my major but there is great value in taking a language.  If I choose to enter into a medical career, a second language would be a great tool for the workplace to help me converse with spanish speakers.
