                     MÖSSBAUER EFFECT GRAPHS MADE BY ALON FLEIDER AMITAY RUDNICK & ME

1.Alpha-Fe calibration can be made by finding the calibration constant for the channels and wellknowen speeds of Alpha-Fe

                                the calibration is made for the linear assumption V=K*channels

2. other compounds mossbauers-spectrum with respect to Alpha-Fe calibration

Fe2O3(ferric-oxide)  (velocity 4[mm/sec]

Fe2O3 (ferric-oxide)  [velocity 10[mm/sec]

FeSO4 (ferous) velocity 4[mm/sec]

we can see that a small change in oxidation-state will efect the            isomer-shift\chymical-shift, between the last two compounds.

 

K3Fe(CN)6 Velocity 4[mm/sec] --octahedral symetry

K4Fe(CN)6  Velocity 4[mm/sec] --octahedral symetry

again the oxidation-state Effect the Isomer-shift between those two compounds, nice ha??     :)
