Weekly Camp themes and projects For June
Elementary 9am-noon:
Session one: June 1-5 Landscape collage, leaf rubbings and resist painting, Animal drawings, sculpey beads, pop-up cards.
Session two: June 8-12 Paper Mache Animal, Tree and leaf drawings, Painted picture frame, Watercolor Straw paintings, Oil pastel cubist still life.
Session three: June 15-19 Dough mosaics, Kite making, Clay animals, 3-d Shape drawings, quilt patterns designs painted on paper.
Session four: June 22-26 Superhero drawing, Mask making, pirate treasure map, Draw and paint sea creatures, woven paper mats with stars.
Grades 6-12 12:30- 3:30
Session one: June 1-5 Name in gothic lettering, Stencil Making, patterned optical illusion boxes, Shaded pencil drawing , Paint color mixing.
Session two: June 8-12 impressionist oil pastel landscape, grid enlargement and image transfer, Sculpey relief tile, Colored pencil shading techniques.
Session three: June 15-19 soft sculpture, stamp making, Watercolor and calligraphy greeting cards.
Session four: June 22-26 Clay workshop handbuilding clay box, coil pot, ocarina.
