Our club is called
Arete. It is under the auspices of both NJHSA (North Jersey Home
Schoolers Association) and NCFCA (National Christian Forensics
and Communications Association). Arete is the Greek word for the highest virtue or excellence. Our club's purpose is to help homeschooled students to hone their communication skills. Learning how to communicate begins with learning how to think. Learning how to think takes a little effort, but most people recover from it. How is this accomplished?
The club consists of 2 main parts: debate and speech. |
