  • Set up a fresh new deck and filmed a little something. Trying to remember how to use my camera again, haha. Turns out guessing to focus my 50mm is harder than I thought it would be.

A Tom Faulkner photograph taken at the boat rental where I capture my portraits for the Shoreline series. Thanks to all the people that let me push the shutter release on my camera. My objective with this series is to end up with 20-25 strong images. I really never see this project end completely because The Shoreline is also a refuge for me and I've established a good relationship with the kind people that work there.

March 4, 2011 - Earlier today I got together with some friends and planned our spring break trip. Random flipflops on the table are brand new so they're clean. I'm excited for this fun vacation that awaits! :)
