Required - Chapters 1 and 2 of K&R should be read by Tues, 31 August, 2009. (quiz?)
- Review digital design: should know gates and how S-R flip-flops & adders work; also should understand the function of edge-triggered D flip-flops (quiz?)
Also encouraged: students should setup a usable C system WITHOUT IDE on a convenient computer. - Cygwin is fine under windows. See http://www.cygwin.com
