The Microeconomy

The Adolescent Program businesses of 2011-2012 are starting up with eager, newly assigned leaders from the 8th year students.

From the almost $14,000 of income generated through Pizza Day, Coffee Corner, and The Arbor Market (including the products from the Garden and Bees), they have profited a little over $6,000 for the class microeconomy.  The class of 2010-2011 allocated funds for compost bins and fencing in the garden at the Masonic Lodge, offset expenses from the trip to Costa Rica, and contributed toward a carbon offset program in the forests we visited in Monteverde.
