The Middle School businesses of 2008-2009 have completed a phenomenal year!! From the more than $14,000 of income generated through Pizza Day, Coffee House, The Market (including the products from the Garden and Bees), and the Arbor Store, they have profited a little over $7,000 for the class microeconomy. The students decided to move forward with completing the kitchen renovation begun in January 2008 by purchasing the refrigerator, stove, and ventilation hood. In addition, $3,000 was applied toward the expenses for the end of year trip to Costa Rica. Each and every student is needed to support the functioning of each business at every event. In particular, we would like to recognize the business managers for their excellent leadership in all aspects of the business activities. The depth of their understanding of business practices was reflected in the quality of the products and services provided to you - the valued customers!
