Ahhh...how plans change.  I've changed my date several times, hopefully this time it will stick.  My fiance is a Canadian citizen and will be moving to the US to marry me (I'm a US citizen).  We have applied for a fiance visa which averages around 8-9 months to get approved through the offices that we have to apply at based on our locations.  We have decided to have a teeny, tiny civil ceremony when the visa is approved and we'll plan for a "real" wedding in May of 2009.  I think it's silly and a little bit beebeeish, but we've decided that we won't consider ourselves married until the church ceremony in May.  We have lived in separate countries for our entire relationship and engagement, this will give us a little bit of time to have a pre-married relationship.
