Education and training history

I got my high school education in GAGLS - Gymnázium arm.gen. L. Svobodu in Humenné (from September 1997 to May 2001).
In September 2001 I started my scientific career at the
University of P.J. Šafárik, Faculty of Sciences, in Košice.

Staying abroad

Weekly staying at the  Department of Physics of University of Bayreuth, Germany (November 2004)
The European Advanced Cryogenics Course(“Cryocourse”), Grenoble (September 2007, 14. – 27. )
Three months stay at Forschungszentrum Rossendorf , High Magnetic Field Laboratory, Dresden, Germany (September 2009, 15. - December 2009, 15.)

Skills and competences

In our laboratories I had the chance to work with commercial devices like PPMS and MPMS (Quantum Design) and 3He-4He Dillution refrigerator (Oxford Instruments). The experiemntal data were analysed using PC software, like Origin (up to v.8) or Matlab. For making nice picture of my samples' crystal structure I used the Diamond software. I usually work with MS Windows, sometimes with Linux.

Additional informations

I can speak english quite good, due to everyday use of it. Somehow it goes without saying for a scientist - I read scientific papers, publish my own work and communicate with research fellows in english. I also learned german and french many years ago and I still remember few words and a little grammar ;-)
