Kung Hei Fat Choy 2011 The Gansu Province Theatre of Song and Dance The theatre brings its latest offering, “Dunhuang Charm” to Trafalgar Square. It is a new and exciting integration of singing, dancing, music, acrobatics and kung fu. This show is visually spectacular with rich and colourful folk characteristics. Dunhuang is a major city in Gansu province and was a major stop on the ancient Silk Road. It was also known at times as Shachou, or 'City of Sands'. Established in 1960, The Gansu Province Theatre of Song and Dance mainly focuses on the study, creation and performance of Dunhuang music and dance. Over the last 50 years, they have created numerous successful plays and attracted acclaim from critics worldwide. Since its debut in 1979, the theatre has performed over 1600 times in over 20 countries worldwide, entertaining an audience of 3.2 million people.

My work space

My half of the craft table. The_dean and I share this 7' long work bench that's in our home office. This table takes up most of the wall on one side with the_dean's figurines and painting supplies neatly stacked up at the end. On the other side of the world is the nook where my computer table is and beside it, the open closet. It's my favorite room in our house. :) Now you see partly why. (Best viewed large)
