He moved up to Lancaster in 1986 as a student of religion and stayed there for ten years, eventually taking a PhD in the philosophy of love. Escaping awhile from the world of academia, he took up creative writing, and his poems have appeared in many magazines and anthologies. Green Eros is his first novel. Thomas Jones was ordained into the Western Buddhist Order in 2004, when he was given the name ‘Dhivan’. He now lives in Cambridge in a men’s Buddhist community. |
