MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING DEGREE. UNIVERSITIES ONLINE DEGREE. ONLINE HEALTH SCIENCE DEGREE Management Accounting Degree
Summer session starts in one week. I'm taking Foundations of Business Management to satisfy all the prerequisites What is the Foundations of Business Course? For students who do not have an undergraduate degree in Business Administration or have not taken these four prerequisite courses: accounting, management, economics and finance at the undergraduate level, there is an alternative way to fulfill the prerequisite to the Part-Time MBA program. Faculty at the Isenberg School of Management have developed an efficient way for students to complete the prerequisite requirements with a non-credit, 70-hour course entitled “Foundations of Business.” Students who are admitted to the Part-Time MBA program have one year from the semester they are accepted in the program to complete these prerequisite requirements, and the "Foundations of Business" course is one of the most efficient ways to do so. Curriculum The Foundations course has three separate but integrated segments that are taught by a team of our best graduate faculty. The three segments are: management, accounting & finance, and analytical tools. Concepts of management — explores the nature of business from the inception of an idea through the establishment of a new firm and then examines how various aspects of management change and develop as the firm grows in size and complexity. Accounting and finance — begins with the accounting cycle and the preparation and analysis of financial statements. Students are then introduced to financial concepts and analysis, which provide a sound foundation for the more advanced material offered in the MBA Part-Time Program. Analytical skills and tools — reviews many of the economic principles and concepts seen in management, and ties them to the cases and discussion in the other elements of the module. This segment assumes no previous experience with economics or mathematics. Foundations of Business books arrived today - summer school is going to be fun........
