Google Apps Script Hackathon at NCSU



Please join us on November 6, 2010 for an Apps Script hackathon at NC State University.
  • Learn about Apps Script
    • The event will include an overview of the major features of Google Apps Script. Apps Script enthusiasts will be on hand to help and to answer questions throughout the day.
  • Build with Us or Build Your Own
    • Throughout the day, we will be building a complete script using Apps Script and sharing the code with you so you can code along with us. If, on the other hand, you already have a great idea for what to build, bring that idea with you to the hackathon. Even better, bring along anything you can prepare ahead of time (sketches, designs, mockups, etc.) and use the time and information provided to develop your idea into a working application, then share it with the world.
    • At the end of the day, we'll invite you to share your scripts with the group.
  • What Do I Need?
    • We will provide facilities, power, food, refreshments, and experts to help you learn to use Apps Script and write your own scripts. Just bring your laptop, basic familiarity with JavaScript, ideas, and enthusiasm to complete the mix.
    • This hackathon is limited to CSC majors at NCSU.
  • When and Where?
    • The hackathon will take place Saturday, November 6, 2010 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. It will be held in room 3211 in EB2.
