Sketch Mode
    Starting with Scratch Work 2.0 you can insert images, insert areas to draw in and insert text boxes to annotate on all your notes. This guide will show the new features added for sketch mode and how to use them.
    (Remember: When in Sketch Mode you can use two finger taps and  holds to reveal menus from figures and the note itself. Also tapping images in the material view will pop up a menu so one can copy them, see insert image section for more information)


    Entering Sketch Mode
  • To enter sketch mode just click the Sketch button on the top menu in the note side of the screen (Figure below)
  • Press Show/Hide buttons in order to show or hide figures while in writing mode


    Picking Figures And Inserting Figures
  • Upon entering Sketch Mode the Figures button will become available, click it in order to get a menu of the available figure types to insert (First image below)
  • Once you picked the type of figure you want to insert, just touch and drag on the note in order to insert a figure, as seen below a black rectangle will shrink and grow as you move your finger to let you pick the size of the figure.




   Using Sketch Mode
  • When in Sketch mode you can use two finger taps and  two finger long hold in order to reveal menus
  • You can two finger tap on all figures to reveal menus that will allow you to move and delete the figures (First Figure Below)
    • To move figures, enter move mode and just tap the figure and move it around (images move by default)
    • To delete figures select delete from the pop up menu
  • You can two finger tap on the note itself to reveal a menu that will allow you do various functions including (Second Figure Below)
    • Toggle between inserting figures and scrolling the note
    • Put all figures into moving mode with one touch
    • Delete figure mode which allows you to just tap figures to delete them
    • Toggle borders option that will hide or show the borders around the figure (Note: Exporting to PDF always takes the borders out)


    Insert Image Views
  • To insert an Image
    • Copy an image from the material view by two finger tapping images (Second image below)
    • Enter Sketch Mode
    • From the Figures Menu pick Image
    • Insert the image the size you want it to be
  • As shown in the picture below two finger tapping in the material view allows you to copy images



      Inserting Sketch Figures
  • Sketch Figures alllow you to draw on a note, to insert a sketch figure
    • Enter Sketch mode
    • Pick Sketch Figure or Graph Figure from the Figures menu
    • Insert the sketch 
  • The Pallete button on the upper right corner will bring up a menu where you can:
    • Pick a different color, including highlighting colors in the bottom row (Shown in red box and the purple arrow)
    • Pick a bigger point size (Shown in the blue box)
    • Pick different eraser sizes to erase with (Shown in the green box)


            Insert text figures
  • Insert Text Figures by:
    • Enter Sketch mode
    • From the Figures menu choose Text Figure
    • Insert the text figure
    • Tap the figure to enter text (Note: two finger taps dont work on text views, two finger holds do though)
