Ed Sherwood reveals how certain biophysical anomalies found in non-manmade Crop Circle formations could be explained by plant exposure to sonic and/or ultrasonic energy. Crop Circles & Sound: A Sonic & Ultrasonic Connection By Ed Sherwood In early August 1990, I discovered that plant and soil exposure to Sonic and/or Ultrasonic energy could explain many of the biophysical anomalies found at certain Crop Circle formation sites, including 90 degree plant bending and rapid internal heating effects within the plant cells and stem nodes. Since the early days of Crop Circle research one of the indicators of a non-manmade formation has been plants bent at 90 degrees just above the ground, or higher, in addition to the natural bend of the plant, without a break or a crease. Plant stems, nodes and heads bent in this manner actually look like they have been 'steamed' into position rather than flattened by mechanical action (like those observed and photographed at Laguna Canyon in 1996:http://www.cropcircleanswers.com/lagu... I first observed anomalous plant bending in a set of three circles at Alton Barnes in 1990 and have many times since, however, to really see this type of evidence throughout a formation it helps to be the first, or one of the first, to enter it before it is destroyed by visitation. There are exceptions. On August 21st 1991 I investigated a large pictogram near Lockeridge in Wiltshire (England) that included a sixty-foot (approx.) diameter circle, in which only the wheat heads were bent 90 degrees without a break or crease and rotated. Consequently, you could only look at the circle, not enter it. What could have caused such bending? There is considerable evidence from scientific experiments conducted in the 1960s that certain frequencies of sound and/or ultrasound could cause such bending. One of the many experiments conducted in the 1960s, exposing various plant species to different types of music, for example, revealed overwhelming evidence that certain plants respond to certain types of sonic vibration, by bending either towards or away from the sound source. This report includes many of Ed Sherwood's scientific discoveries, made in 1990, linking Sound and Ultrasound to the biophysics of non-manmade Crop Circle creation. Ed Sherwood has disseminated his scientific findings, connecting Sound and Ultrasound to the biophysics of non-manmade Crop Circle creation (including the above), among Crop Circle researchers since 1990 and the public since 1992. In 2000 however, a 'fellow' Crop Circle 'researcher' began plagiarizing a lot of his sound observations and has since become widely known for presenting them as his own, without making any reference to his original source. This statement is made to inform readers that Ed Sherwood was the original source. Crop Circles & Sound (Part 2): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1AezFM...
