Classroom 8 - Eisenberg-Montgomery-Faison

We had a great month of April in Classroom 8! We finished up our unit on Dinosaurs, and had a break week about Camping. We learned about the different things you need to go camping in the woods, and what types of animals you might see. We even got to make and eat a tasty camping dessert, s’mores: roasted marshmallows with graham crackers and chocolate (delicious). After that, we started our new unit about the Animal Kingdom. We are learning about different types of animals and where they live. We are also enjoying the changing weather, especially on our field trip to the National Zoo! We are also very excited about our new class pets: three caterpillars, who we will watch transform into butterflies.
