Apple of His Eye Orchard brings fruits and vegetables to our customers from the very best farms around our East Central Indiana Area during our growing season.  From time to time we like to seek out Grade A quality produce grown in other areas of the country but are not yet available in Indiana for our customers.  We select only the very best home grown fruits and vegetables from local farms in South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee.  We know you enjoy these great "tastes" because they are fresh from the field and the tree.  All of our fruits and vegetables are allowed to reach full ripeness and color then they are picked and we go and get them for you.  Unlike the grocery stores who buy their produce from the middle man who does not have a relationship with the grower and may not keep a sharp eye on quality as we must do in our small business, we really know the folks we are dealing with.

We ask you to stop by this year and try our small fruits, cantaloupe and popular vegetables.  This was a new service we began last year.  Our goal was to find out what other fruits and vegetables you would want us to carry as you stopped by for peaches and apples.  We hope you will participate in our growth God's way all through the 2012 season.  By the way, we are going to test a sort of community garden idea this year.  Our friends at El Maguey restaurant in Anderson are going to plant some interesting vegetables in our gardens to be prepared at their diner located across the street from Mounds Mall.  I can taste the chilis already.
