FEELING PHILOSOPHICAL? Australasian Philosophy Postgraduate Conference 2011 Monash University, Caulfield Campus Friday April 29 - Sunday May 1 Keynote Speakers: Simon Keller (Victoria, NZ) and Daniel Nolan Call for Papers Deadline: March 15, 2011 (Abstracts will suffice) Attendee Registration Deadline: March 31, 2011 Come join us at Monash University, Caulfield Campus, for the 2011 Australasian Philosophy Postgraduate Conference. From Friday April 29th – Sunday May 1st, you can be sure to encounter some of Australasia’s most talented and up-and-coming young philosophers. While those who come to listen will no doubt be enlightened through attendance and participation in the various seminar sessions on offer, there will also be catered lunches on Saturday as well as Sunday, a Social Reception on Friday night and a Party (with a capital ‘P’) on Saturday night for you to let down your hair and allow those brains relax – as much as a philosopher’s brain can! Two keynote speakers we can excitedly say have been confirmed are Simon Keller from the Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand, and Daniel Nolan from the Australian National University in Canberra, currently on leave from the University of Nottingham. Both come to us with keen interests in ethics, metaphysics, and everything in between, it seems! Feel free to download the attached poster and distribute to your heart's content, and for any further enquiries, please email MonashAPPC@gmail.com. Please note, we also do have limited funds still available for international or interstate students needing monetary help in order to attend the conference, so please email us to find out more.
