Rates

Hourly:  $18 an hour with 1/2 hour minimum.  Time will be charged in 15 min. increments.

Monthly:  $150  for 20 hours of shop time. (Does apply to digital cutting table, printer or embroidery machine)                

  Hours

Monday – Friday 9-5  Saturday 9-4.  RCT will work hard to ensure that there is always a staff member available for assistance.  In the off chance no one is available; members are responsible for any mishaps that may occur.

Training

We realize that sitting down to a new machine may be daunting so we staff employees that can show you how things work.  Learning how a machine works is free, simply become a member and pay the hourly rate and we will show you how any of our machines work.   If you aren’t sure about how something works, or what to do next, please just ask.

Certification

We require that all members become certified on any sewing machine that they are looking to use.  This ensures both your safety and the longevity of the machines.  There is no charge for becoming certified however we ask that you schedule your training in advance so that we can provide you with the attention and time you need.

Machine Repair

We understand that you may have difficulty when learning a new machine and that things get broken.  We ask that all machines are left in working order, clean and ready for the next person to use.  If you are unable to leave a machine in working condition, please alert us and we will review the damage.

Because the goal of the co-op is education, we ask that if a mechanic is required for a repair that the member in question sit down with the mechanic and learn from him.  We will be more than happy to cover the charge if you are willing to learn from your mistakes.  If a member isn’t interested in spending time with the mechanic, than the co-op will charge a flat fee of $250 to cover the cost of the call.
