OBJECTIVE

To obtain a fulltime summer job as a camp counselor utilizing my prior experience working with kids and my leadership role in sports.

 

EDUCATION

El Segundo High School (June 2009)

GPA 4.25. Number 5 in class.

Attending UCSB in Fall 2009.

 

EXPERIENCE

High school “Link Leader” for the 2007-2008 and the 2008-2009 school year (upperclassmen that help a group of 10-12 freshmen into the transition of high school, keeping in contact throughout the school year).

LA County Junior Lifeguard Cadet for the 2007 summer. Assumed a role of leadership above Junior Lifeguards, but below Lifeguards. Responsible for younger Junior Lifeguards while Lifeguards had to attend to another activity. Gave lectures to 9-13 year olds. Planned activities.

Youth Leader at my local church for the 2007-2008 school year. Met with a team weekly to discuss how better to connect with the other youth group kids and how to relate for the coming service. Planned events. Volunteered for Children Church teacher through this.

ESHS Varsity Water Polo and Swim Team Captain for the 2008-2009 school year.

 

CERTIFICATION

Will be CPR/Lifeguard/WSI certified by June 2009 through the American Red Cross.

Certified “Super Sitter” by Little Company of Mary.

Have been babysitter for over 5 years.
