Call for Posters

To share your ideas, research and experience on Midwifery Education and contribute to the development of Midwifery training and care, we invite all interested parties to submit your posters. Posters must conform to the requirements established by the Scientific Committee.

It will be accepted:

- Poster - Visual presentation in ppt. format (power point format) with 100 cm wide x 80 cm high.

This Conference calls for posters in one of the following themes:

A-Education, Learning and Continuous Training;

B-Health Promotion and Health Education;

C-Innovation and Transfer of Knowledge;

D-Clinical Midwifery;

E-History and development of the profession;

F-Organization and Management of Midwifery Services and Midwifery Education Institutions.

 

Deadline for submission of posters – November 01, 2010 at 24 GMT.

Deadline for notification of acceptance - November 08, 2010.

 

Instructions for poster submission

Posters must be original.

The number of authors of each presentation is limited to six. All presenters of accepted presentations must have register in the conference.

The language of the Conference, in which you can submit your presentations, is English.

All posters should be submitted via email - apeo.revista@gmail.com

You will receive confirmation of your submission via email.

Poster presentations will be on screen and not on paper. Thus, the accepted posters should be sent in a file in ppt format until November, 01, 2010. Presentations should contain only one page/slide in portrait orientation. The recommended minimum font size is "Times New Roman" 14.

Poster authors must have paper copies A4 format to offer to the participants of the conference in a location established by the Organization for this distribution. The organization recommends that each poster should have at least 50 copies in A4 format.

 

Evaluation

The Scientific Committee will evaluate the presentations and notify the authors of acceptance until November 08, 2010.

 

Poster presentation certificate

The Scientific Committee certificates the poster presentation and will award a prize to the Best Poster.

The certificate will include the name of the authors and the title of the Poster, as provided in the application form.

The organization will not correct Certificates during the Conference.
