Background
There is a continuous need to analyze the midwifery education programme. New and rapidly changing challenges in the health care sector demand that the education of midwives is continuously re-evaluated. As new member states join EU it is important to understand the various levels and standards of midwifery education in all the countries. In addition, EU policies for free movement of midwives within the EU drive the need to provide an opportunities for discussion, networking and collaboration between different organizations and countries. |
